1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
2. Services & Scope
We provide handyman and light construction services as described on our website and in individual estimates. We reserve the right to decline projects outside our licensing, safety, or capacity constraints.
3. Quotes & Estimates
- Written estimates are valid for 15 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.
- Estimates are based on the visible conditions and information available at the time. Hidden conditions or scope changes may require a change order and additional charges.
- Unless stated, estimates exclude permits, specialty trade work (e.g., electrical, plumbing beyond minor), hazardous material remediation, and unexpected code upgrades.
4. Scheduling & Access
- Scheduling is subject to technician availability. Appointment windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic, prior jobs, or emergencies.
- You agree to provide safe and timely access to the work area, including necessary building access, parking, power, and water.
- If access is unavailable or the site is unsafe, we may reschedule or charge a reasonable trip or wait fee.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure the work area is clear of personal items and pets, and disclose any known hazards (e.g., lead paint, asbestos, mold).
- Obtain necessary approvals from landlords or HOAs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Review and approve selections (colors, finishes, materials) in writing before work begins.
6. Payments & Invoices
- Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quote, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the job.
- Large-Scale Projects: For projects exceeding a specified amount, a progress payment schedule may be implemented, which will be detailed in the project agreement or estimate.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, check, debit/credit card, and electronic payment (e.g., ACH or other approved digital methods).
- Late or Returned Payments: Balances not paid when due may incur a late fee or interest at the maximum rate permitted by law. Returned or failed payments may be subject to a processing fee.
- Non-Payment: We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue work in the event of non-payment. The client agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees, where permitted by law.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You may reschedule or cancel with 48 hours advance notice without penalty.
- Short-notice cancellations or missed appointments may result in a 10% trip/late-cancel fee.
- We may reschedule due to safety issues, severe weather, or events beyond our reasonable control.
8. Materials, Parts & Ownership
- Unless otherwise noted, materials are billed at cost plus a reasonable handling percentage to cover sourcing and logistics.
- Manufacturer warranties on parts and materials apply and are independent of our workmanship warranty.
- Title to materials passes to you upon full payment. We may remove unused materials from the job site unless they are itemized as “customer-owned”.
9. Limited Warranty
- We warrant our workmanship for 1 Year from completion against defects in workmanship under normal use.
- This warranty excludes: normal wear and tear; damage from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized alterations; consequential damages; and failures caused by hidden or pre-existing conditions.
- Your sole remedy is repair or re-performance of the affected work, at our option.
